Aftercare services for a higher level of skilled dementia caregiving. If the loved one would benefit from more specialized care from a Dementia Specialist, I offer regular visits to the home to offer dementia care for tasks such as bathing, dressing, medication management, and much more.
Meet Nicole
Nicole has experience working with seniors for over 25 years. She began this journey with a degree in art then a degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Nicole is a Certified Dementia Care Practitioner and a Certified Dementia Specialist. She continues her higher learning through courses and classes ranging from communication skill development, the aging brain, memory, brain and cognitive science, neurology, and cognitive retraining and numerous courses in dementia.
Nicole has been successful providing education, consulting and caregiver training to staff and families. She leads creative and engaging exercise classes to stretch and strengthen the mind and the body. Nicole's philosophy of care is that each situation is unique, and she strives to provide every client with the most individualized care and consulting. She provides tips, training and support for her clients and families.
Nicole's style is holistic, intuitive and extremely supportive. She has an open heart and passionately provides an empathetic approach to understanding the needs of her clients living with dementia. Each person living with dementia is communicating their needs and Nicole is here to listen.
